Meeting Recap (10/16-10/18)

This past Monday was our equipment workshop that focused on camera. At this meeting, our Operations Manager Chris Ingham showed basic concepts in digital cameras using our Canon 60D and Black Magic cameras.

Additionally, to show what's been happening with our new Tuesday production meetings, Michael Mantsourani and Brian Huebscher did a partial cold read of the script they are currently developing called "Risque Business." Images from this week's meeting can be found below.

Flicker YouTube has changed the name of its meetings to "Flicker Production Meetings." This is where Flicker will collectively be developing a short film project from the ground up. Anyone looking for direct hands on experience is encouraged to join. They meet on Tuesdays at 7pm in Leutze 138.

Reel Teal is going strong, having received nearly 2000 submissions so far! This week they started brainstorming commercial and other advertisement ideas. If helping organize a film festival is something that appeals to you, they meet every Wednesday at 7pm in Leutze 138.

Tonight's meeting (7:30 in Morton 100) will be a Found Footage Challenge. Groups will be assigned various clips and will be asked to assemble a short video with it in the allotted time. It's going to be a lot of fun, so we encourage everyone to come out!
